These are the animals that you can find during whale watching in<\/span> Tenerif<\/span>:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Dolphins<\/strong>:<\/span> There is a large population of dolphins in the south of the island. You will be able to see the Atlantic Spotted Dolphin and the Bottlenose Dolphin. Both species are present on the islands all year round. There are also common dolphins during the months of December to April. <\/span><\/p>

Pilot whales<\/strong>:<\/span> one of the easiest cetacean species to spot. Pilot whales are probably in a good part of the photos of the brochures of the companies that make excursions to see them. They are found on the islands throughout the year. <\/span><\/p>

Sperm whales<\/strong>:<\/span> These giants frequent the waters of the Canary Islands throughout the year. Between 13 and 18 meters long for adults, these cetaceans are rarer to sight, but they can be found sporadically. <\/span><\/p>

Orcas<\/strong>:<\/span> Much rarer to spot, the orcas of the islands feed on tuna and occasionally pilot whales. It is not at all common to see these animals, compared to dolphins and pilot whales, which you can observe on all outings. If you do manage to spot an orca, make sure you have your camera handy! <\/span><\/p>
