No kind of permit is required to snorkel in<\/span> Tenerife<\/strong>,<\/span> you<\/span> would only need a license in case you wanted to scuba dive.<\/span><\/p>

As for how and where to do it…<\/span><\/p>

The Puertito de Adeje:<\/span> <\/strong>A small cove of black sand frequented by green turtles and multiple species of fish. With a volcanic background, it is located in a fishing district. <\/span><\/p>

The El Palmar Wall<\/strong><\/span>:<\/span> In this place there is an abundance of the most exotic species of the island, including turtles. In front of you, a rocky wall approximately 25 meters deep on average. <\/span><\/p>

Costa Sauzal<\/strong>:<\/span> In the north of the island, this rocky bottom area contains a large number of small species such as breams, salemas, parrots, green fish and black fulas.<\/span><\/p>

Punta Teno<\/strong>:<\/span> Our favorite cove in<\/span> Buenavista.<\/span><\/strong> With stone bottoms, it is perfect for spending a day at the beach with the family and for beginners to snorkel. It provides a location isolated from the winds that usually whip the area. It is perfect for doing the activity at any time of the year. <\/span><\/p>

Las Gaviotas<\/strong>:<\/span> In front of us, a small bathing area near the popular beach of<\/span> Las Teresitas<\/span>. <\/span> <\/strong>In it, a sandy bottom next to the beautiful views of Punta de los \u00d3rganos. This volcanic formation is full of underwater life to our delight. It is located about a 30-minute drive from the town of <\/span> Santa Cruz de Tenerife<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>

Playa el Bollullo:<\/span> <\/strong>Near Puerto<\/span> de La Cruz<\/strong>,<\/strong><\/span> This small beach with a volcanic bottom is home to a good variety of fish species and underwater flora. It is a lesser-known location so it is not recommended in winter due to the levels of danger reached by the sea. <\/span><\/p>

Caleta de Interi\u00e1n:<\/strong><\/span> Surrounded by numerous plantations between<\/span> Garachico<\/strong> and Los Silos<\/strong>,<\/span> This area provides a rich rocky bottom on which to observe local species. When you finish your tour, you can relax in the colorful village surrounding the beach. The area has several places protected from the open sea to rest and let the little ones enjoy a quiet swim. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
