data-contrast=\"none\">There are also places where you can spend <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">a<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\"> <span data-contrast=\"none\">different<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\"> day<\/span> and <span data-contrast=\"none\"><span data-contrast=\"none\"> get to know both the present and the past of the island. <span style=\"color: #109bc5;\"><strong>The data-contrast=\"none\">Ethnographic Park<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\"> in<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">G\u00fc\u00edmar<\/span><\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">, founded in 1998 by <\/span><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.piramidesdeguimar.es\/en\/about-piramides-de-guimar\/thor-heyerdahl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Thor Heyerdahl<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\">. This important Norwegian researcher  <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">He built the park in order to protect, safeguard and study these constructions.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">In addition to the pir<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">a<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">mides, <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">there are also<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\"><\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">n It has large garden areas. These stones would be placed at the time by farmers to clear the land and thus be able to cultivate it. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"> <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li data-leveltext=\"-\" data-font=\"Times New Roman\" data-listid=\"2\" aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-aria-posinset=\"1\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">For Heyerdahl, the <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">pyramids of Tenerife <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">were related to other ancient civilizations located around the world.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">of the planet. These civilizations share architectural principles in their constructions. Therefore, it would hardly be a simple accumulation of stones.  <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"> <\/span><\/li>\n<li data-leveltext=\"-\" data-font=\"Times New Roman\" data-listid=\"2\" aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-aria-posinset=\"2\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">The excavations carried out in the park arose from the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ull.es\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">University of La Laguna<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\">  and of the FERCO Foundation in 1991. Materials from the mid-nineteenth century were obtained from it. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"> <\/span><\/li>\n<li data-leveltext=\"-\" data-font=\"Times New Roman\" data-listid=\"2\" aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-aria-posinset=\"3\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Also during the 90s, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iac.es\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Instituto de Astrof\u00edsica de Canarias<\/a> carried out a study in which it was shown that <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">that the pyramids are astronomically oriented to the summer and winter solstices. From this research the conclusion is drawn that a casual construction of it is easily discarded. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"> <\/span><\/li>\n<li data-leveltext=\"-\" data-font=\"Times New Roman\" data-listid=\"2\" aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-aria-posinset=\"4\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Some documents of the purchase of the land where the pyramids are located have served to<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">check if there were references to them. <\/span>In a document from 1854 they are not mentioned, while in another from 1872 they are. If this theory is true, the date of construction would be reduced to the last two decades of that century. Likewise,<span data-contrast=\"none\">it maintains its historical relevance as an ethnographic element of the Canarian people of the nineteenth century.<\/span>  <span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">
