The TF-21 is the road that crosses the National Park from side to side.
There is only one road that runs in the shadow of Mount Teide: the TF-21. It crosses the park in a north-south direction, approximately, passing through the three most important centers of the park:
- Portillo Visitor Centre (the northern access, this is also where the TF-24 also reaches).
- Cable car (in the heart of the park, the easiest access to the summit).
- Cañada Blanca Visitor Centre (the southern access, here you will also find the Parador Nacional).
To better orient yourself, this is the official map of the park, be sure to check it out!
BY BUS
It is also possible to approach the maximum height of Mount Teide by public transport. There are three bus stops within the park, again in the nerve centres mentioned above: the Cañada Blanca (to the south) and El Portillo (to the north) visitor centres, as well as at the foot of the cable car that leads to the summit.
The lines that pass through the park are 342 (from Costa Adeje, in the south) and 348 (from Puerto de la Cruz, in the north); Logically, you will have to look for the best option depending on your point of origin. This map from the TITSA company will make it very easy for you.
