Paragliding in Tenerife

You can paraglide at all altitudes, durations and thanks to the island’s abundance of microclimates, scenery. If you have your own equipment and you already know how to fly, we recommend that you bring it, as it is not common to rent this type of equipment due to its personal character.

If you want to take advantage of paragliding with your family, you can take minors with the express permission of their parents or legal guardians. Do not forget that the final approval is reserved by the companies to guarantee the safety of the descent.

Remember that the island has different microclimates so the cold and cloudy day in your hotel can turn into a day of sunshine and heat in the location of your flight. Similarly, the company reserves the right to cancel or postpone the activity due to bad weather, in which case, you will be offered a refund or a different date for the activity.
Landing on the beaches is usually forbidden in summer due to the high density of swimmers, but do not worry, there are alternative landings not too far away in most cases so you will not see your exit reduced. However, there are enough exits that don’t end at beaches so you won’t notice the change. Ask the company in case of doubts about where the activity starts or ends and the duration of the activity.
Depending on the length and difficulty you can wait from 15 minutes to about an hour of descent. The highest point from where to start the activity is Izaña: the highest paragliding point in Europe at an altitude of 2200 meters above sea level apart.
