From the impressive recreation of the most varied ecosystems to the most surprising representations starring the most endearing animals, you will find a wide variety of shows and shows at Loro Parque. These are some of the ones you can’t miss.

Loro Parque Penguin

Or are you going to miss, for example, the largest penguinarium in the world? It is a true masterpiece in terms of recreation of natural habitats, with two sections; in one of them the conditions of the Pacific Ocean are reproduced, so that Humboldt penguins feel at home.

The other is simply spectacular: an Antarctic space where the water is kept at 7° and 12 tons of snow are generated daily. Thus, you will be able to contemplate these friendly birds in their real environment as close as possible to reality.

Aquarium Loro Parque

Surely you have seen other aquariums, but none like this one. We’re talking about 20,000 different species of animals and plants in twelve different themed exhibits. Its 1.2 million litres of water comes from the nearby Atlantic Ocean and is carefully treated to ensure optimal conditions in each ecosystem.

Here you’ll find colorful coral reefs teeming with life, strange freshwater stingrays, mysterious submerged gardens, and the ever-dangerous piranhas. And you’ll come face-to-face with sharks through an underwater tunnel. Are you ready?

Loro Show Loro Parque

Loro Parque was a pioneer in the world with its free-flying parrot shows. This is not surprising, since nowadays it is the largest reserve of parrot species and subspecies on the planet. It is normal that no one wants to miss it.

The show starring these intelligent and beautiful birds has been updated and renewed multiple times over the last decades, but it remains one of the park’s classics. Today it includes spectacular multimedia effects and a great interaction between the keepers and the thirty birds that participate.

Schedule: 6 daily shows (10:25 – 11:50 – 13:30 – 15:00 – 16:00 – 17:30)

Orca Ocean Loro Parque

There are animals in Loro Parque that earn the affection of visitors, and orcas are surely at the forefront in that sense. Behind their reputation as aggressive and ruthless animals are highly intelligent and sensitive mammals, capable of tuning in closely with their keepers.

This is what we will find in the representation offered to the public at Orca Ocean, a facility of international fame for its unbeatable technical conditions. Killer whales feel comfortable, and it shows. You will remember this exhibition for a long time.

Sea Lions Loro Parque

The sea lions are probably the funniest show in the park, especially for younger viewers. Almost half an hour of acrobatics, pirouettes, authentic exhibitions of agility and dexterity underwater and on the surface delight the large audience that comes to see them.

Also, and always under the careful supervision of the keepers, some lucky ones in the public will be able to come and interact with the sea lions and even touch them. By the way… Do you know how to differentiate sea lions from seals? Seals don’t have ears!

Loro Parque Dolphinarium

Inside the venue, some of the Loro Parque shows are undoubtedly among the public’s favourites; Dolphins are one of the most emblematic representatives of the park, and their shows are always among the most crowded. Be careful, don’t be left out!

The nine dolphins that make up the large family of the dolphinarium offer a dynamic, original, fun and even exciting show. You will be able to see live evident examples of the intelligence and sensitivity of these incredible marine mammals, so close to us in many ways.

The Grotto

Hailing from the most varied habitats in this region of the world, Australian parakeets play a crucial role in ecosystems, acting as seed dispersers and pollinators. An unmissable experience for everyone.

Katandra Treetops

Loro Parque pays tribute to nature and birds, fifty years after opening its doors and creating this unique space. Today, it is one of the most iconic flight habitats for Australian birds in the world.

Between suspension bridges and lush vegetation, you can come face-to-face with the colorful rainbow lorises and feel the air displaced by the aerial acrobatics of a wide variety of Australian birds.
