The Teide National Park is an open-air natural space and, therefore, you can visit it whenever you want (with the only restriction that wild camping is prohibited, among other basic rules). But the different facilities of the center do close their doors, so you may find it useful to know these schedules of the Teide volcano in Tenerife.
- Visitor centres (El Portillo and Cañada Blanca): Open every day of the year except December 25 and January 1 and 6, from 09:00 to 16:00.
- Juan Évora Ethnographic Museum: Open every day of the week from 09:00 to 15:45 (also parking).
- Telesforo Bravo Visitor Center (administration in La Orotava): Open Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The National Park is free of charge; The cable car and visitor centres have their own opening hours.
In addition, there is an element in the park whose schedule is sure to be essential if you want to climb to the summit and see Tenerife in all its fullness: the Teide cable car. Please note, the opening hours vary throughout the year:
- The “normal” schedule is from 09:00 to 16:00 (last climb at 16:00, last download at 16:50).
- Summer opening hours (July, August and September) are from 09:00 to 19:00 (last climb at 18:00, last download at 18:50).
- The opening hours from October until the time change is from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (last ascent at 4:30 p.m., last descent at 5:20 p.m.).
The cable car car park is open from 08:00 to 18:00, 20:00 and 19:00 respectively. It is also important to note that access to the cable car does not include permission to access the crater, which you must obtain in advance.
