Arona is a municipality in the south of Tenerife with a wide range of tourist attractions which, together with the warm and sunny climate, has made it one of the island’s favourite destinations. It is not difficult to get there. Playa de Las Américas, the point of greatest influx of tourists in Arona, is located just 15 kilometers from the south airport Reina Sofía; by car it is eleven minutes. On the other hand, the southern bus station is in Adeje, specifically 1 kilometre away. Once you arrive, all you need to do is know where to start on the map of Arona on your holiday… and enjoy!

The map of Arona is divided into four different areas: Playa de Las Américas, Los Cristianos, Costa del Silencio and Arona; the first three are located on the coast. Regardless of where we stay, given the proximity it will not be difficult to move between them. Playa de las Américas is located next to Costa Adeje and, together with Los Cristianos, is the largest tourist centre in Arona. Its beaches, hotels, avenues and outstanding buildings, such as the Hard Rock Café and the Pyramid of Arona, bear witness to this.

Next to it, separated by the Chayofita Mountain, is the Los Cristianos area, where we find Las Vistas beach, Jungle Park and the pier. If we were to come and go by sea, we would disembark in Los Cristianos, also the starting point for excursions for whale watching and for visits to other islands of the archipelago.

If we pass Los Cristianos and continue along the map of Arona heading south, we will find the Costa del Silencio and Las Galletas, a beach and diving area where its promenade, its accommodation offer and its natural saltwater pool stand out. To finish with the map of Arona, we approach Arona . This area, unlike the others, is not on the coast and is located above the motorway, with a more mountainous landscape. This is the historic center of the municipality, where the town hall is also located. Don’t hesitate to get to know every corner of the map of Arona!
