Tenerife North Airport Map
Tenerife North Airport, known as Los Rodeos Airport, is located in the municipality of San Cristóbal de La Laguna. 10 kilometres from Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the capital of the island, and 26 kilometres from tourist areas such as Puerto de la Cruz. It mainly receives island and domestic flights, although it also operates (to a lesser extent) international flights. It was built in 1929, being the first airport on the island.
An average of 4 million passengers pass through this airport every year. It is well connected via public transport. It has connections to the capital of the island, San Cristóbal de La Laguna, Puerto de la Cruz and Los Cristianos. Other services offered are parking for both short and long stays, as well as car rental parking. And as usual in all airports, you will also find taxis.

Tenerife South Airport Map
Tenerife South – Reina Sofia Airport is located in the municipality of Granadilla de Abona. 18 kilometres from tourist centres such as Los Cristianos or 20 kilometres from Costa Adeje. From the island’s capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Tenerife South airport is 63 kilometres away, as indicated by Turismo de Tenerife. It was inaugurated in 1978 and remains in operation 24 hours a day.
In this case, Tenerife South Airport receives an average of 9 million passengers each year. This figure places it among the 10 busiest airports in Spain. More than 150 airlines operate here, with inter-island, national and international connections.
