The most recommended plans to do in Anaga are linked to nature. Breathing fresh air, surrounding yourself with vegetation, feeling the calm and silence, taking a swim in a virgin beach… Few places will make you feel as good as the Anaga Rural Park!

Tenerife is much morethan sun and beach tourism, and the Anaga Rural Park is a clear example of this.

Tenerife is much more than sun and beach tourism, and the Anaga Rural Park is a clear example of this. There are many things to do in Anaga, but if there is one thing that stands out, it is especially its network of trails. Whether you’re fit, or want an easy route, you’ll find a walking tour that suits you. For example, one of the most popular is the Path of the Senses.

Short-lived and even wheelchair-accessible, it includes different sensitive panels along the way that will allow you to interact and better understand the environment around you. It is ideal to go with children and to have a first contact. If you are looking for a longer route, which runs through places of great value such as the millenary laurel forest, we recommend the Pijaral Trail, popularly known as Enchanted Forest. An unforgettable experience of approximately 3 hours where you can appreciate the diversity of the fauna and flora of Anaga. As it is a protected area, you must request a reservation in advance on the Cabildo de Tenerife website. And we recommend you do it in advance!

In addition to hiking, there are other sports activities to do in Anaga, such as a bike route. And on the coast, you can go diving, kayaking or surfing, as well as take a refreshing swim or sunbathe on the black sand of the beaches of Benijo, Taganana or Almáciga. And finally, it is also advisable to make a stop at one of its farmhouses, perfect for understanding the local lifestyle and to taste some local products. You won’t want to leave Anaga!
